EVANESCENCE: 'Call Me When You're Sober' Performance Featured On SMASH

Beginning today (Monday, October 23),SMASH on Yahoo! Music will host an exclusive "Featured Performance" of EVANESCENCE's new hit single, "Call Me When You're Sober". The new song is an emotional ballad about lead singer Amy Lee's relationship with SEETHER's Shaun Morgan and is featured on the band's recently released sophomore album, "The Open Door", a follow-up to the critically acclaimed album, "Fallen". Check out a live performance of the new single on Yahoo! Music.

SMASH on Yahoo! Music brings fans exclusive "Featured Performances" from today's hottest artists. This unique segment is part of the original content initiative that also includes "Another Side Of", "Cover Art" and "Mic Pass" that can only be found on Yahoo! Music.

"The Open Door", sold 447,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land at the top of The Billboard 200 chart.

EVANESCENCE recorded "The Open Door" while dealing with its guitarist having a stroke, a legal battle with its former manager, and singer Amy Lee's public break-up with SEETHER's Shaun Morgan. Then just as the project was completed, bassist Will Boyd decided it was time for him to exit.
